FRP Desulfurization Tower Working Principle Analysis:

1. Desorption in Fiberglass Desulfurization Tower:

When activated carbon reaches saturation with organic substances, the intake of organic waste gas is stopped. Steam is injected into the activated carbon bed from below for desorption, causing organic substances to be expelled from the activated carbon, i.e., desorption. The activated carbon in the tank regains its activity, i.e., regeneration.

2. Adsorption in Fiberglass Desulfurization Tower:

Organic waste gas passes through a filter to remove solid particles, then enters the adsorption tank from top to bottom. Organic substances are captured, adsorbed, and concentrated by activated carbon, and purified air is discharged into the atmosphere from the bottom of the tank through the main fan.

Performance Characteristics of Fiberglass Desulfurization Tower:

The BSJ type fiberglass acid mist desulfurization tower is a new type of purification equipment that uses fiberglass as the main material. It is suitable for the purification treatment of industrial waste gases (acid mist gases) in industries such as instrumentation, electroplating, metallurgy, chemical, and electronics machinery, and also suitable for the purification of gases containing mercury, lead, etc. The acid mist desulfurization tower has a high purification efficiency, using a 2-6% NaOH solution as the neutralizing absorption liquid, with a general purification efficiency of around 95%. The tower body adopts a full fiberglass structure, with the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, high strength, and the ability to handle water-soluble gases such as HCl, HCN, H2SO4, NaOH, H2S, etc. The tower adopts a two-stage spray, two-stage filling, and water-blocking structure, and corrosion-resistant liquid is used for liquid delivery. The fiberglass acid mist desulfurization tower uses sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution as the absorption neutralizing liquid. When the solution concentration is 2-6%, the efficiency of purifying hydrochloric acid (HCl) mist (initial concentration <400mg/m3) can reach 94.9%-98.5%, sulfuric acid (H2SO4) mist (initial concentration <100mg/m3) can reach 94.3%-97.5%, and nitric acid (HNO3) mist (initial concentration <1000mg/m3) can reach 92.7%. This purifier can also use sodium hypochlorite (NaCLO) solution as the absorption neutralizing liquid to purify cyanide-containing waste gas, with an efficiency of up to 95.8%.

Maintenance of Fiberglass Desulfurization Tower:

1. The concentration of the solution in the storage tank should be maintained within the range of 2-6%.

2. When the concentration is below 2%, solution must be added.

3. When the concentration of acid-base salt in the storage tank exceeds 20% or as per actual usage, the solution should be replaced regularly.

The fiberglass desulfurization tower is in a cylindrical structure form, consisting of three parts: liquid storage, air intake, spray, dewatering, and air outlet, with outlet pipes connected, and plastic balls placed inside the spray. The acid mist desulfurization tower is integrally formed with fiberglass, compact in structure, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, and smooth on the surface. The water removal part adopts a detached water vapor separation design.

Water spray section: High-pressure water spray produces a mist, with the upper and lower sections expanded for enhanced contact and treatment efficiency.

Filler: Sea urchin or crown type, with integrated PP material requiring an anti-overflow discharge pipe.

Observation window: Made of 5mm thick transparent acrylic sheet.

Automatic water addition device: Float ball controls the liquid level automatically.

Dosing pump: Acid and alkali resistant water pump is used.
