FRP Roof Fan
1. Model Types
The models of fiberglass roof fans include NO3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.2, 12.5, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 28, 32, totaling 17 types.
The transmission forms are Type A (direct connection of the motor), Type C (belt drive), and gearbox rotation.
Fiberglass roof fans are further divided into single exhaust and reversible (exhaust and intake) types. Those requiring reversible fans should be specified when ordering. The airflow, pressure, and efficiency of reversible fans decrease by approximately 10%-15%. The structure of fiberglass roof fans consists of components such as the impeller, air duct, mushroom-shaped hood, damper, motor, transmission assembly, safety net, and bird-proof net.
2. Performance
(1) Impeller: High-strength aluminum alloy blades are used for the impeller, providing excellent aerodynamic performance and corrosion resistance.
(2) Air Duct: The air duct is made of fiberglass material, offering excellent corrosion resistance.
(3) Mushroom-shaped Damper: The mushroom-shaped damper opens automatically, and when the fan stops operating, the damper closes to reduce heat loss indoors during winter.
(4) Motor: The motor leads the wires to a safety switch outside the casing for easy wiring by the user.
3. Operating Conditions
When in operation, the fan is suitable for industrial atmospheres with temperatures equal to or less than 70 degrees Celsius. At a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, the relative humidity should not exceed 95%, and the dust content (including solid impurities) should not exceed 100 mg/m3. If the operating conditions of the fan exceed the above specifications, special design considerations need to be made when ordering.
4. Fan Strength Design
The fan is designed to operate normally under conditions where the wind speed is equal to or less than 25m/s. Under extreme conditions with a wind speed of V=32m/s, the fan should not fail.
Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of Large Roof Fans:
1. Before installation, thoroughly inspect all components of the fan, checking for damage or looseness in the connecting parts. Pay special attention to whether the impeller is damaged or polished, whether the gap between the blades and the air duct is uniform, and whether the rotation direction of the impeller is correct.
2. The installation base surface should be flat and raised 100-200 mm above the roof to prevent water leakage. Make sure to bury the connecting bolts securely.
3. After installation, perform a trial run. Before transportation, check if the installation angle of the blades and the motor power match the data specified on the product nameplate. If not, stop using it immediately to prevent motor burnout.
4. During use, regularly check if the operation is normal and conduct timely maintenance. After a period of use, clean, dustproof, and lubricate all oil injection holes.
5. Check the fastening nuts regularly to ensure they are tight and prevent loosening.
6. During heavy snow and freezing periods in winter, the fan must be operated frequently to prevent snow from blocking the fan outlet.
Fiberglass roof fans are widely used for ventilation and air exchange in civil buildings such as office buildings, stadiums, hotels, restaurants, industrial and mining enterprises, workshops, warehouses, and laboratories. They can also be connected in series or parallel between ducts to increase pressure and airflow for exhaust and supply air.
