FRP flue

The "chimney-tower integration" technology utilizes the significant heat and volume of hot air from cooling towers to lift the wet flue gas after desulfurization. In most cases, the height at which the mixed gases are lifted is much higher than that of the chimney, which is several tens to hundreds of meters taller than the cooling tower, thereby promoting the dispersion of pollutants within the flue gas.

The reason why fiberglass composite materials are chosen for the ducts in the "chimney-tower integration" project of thermal power plants is because of their excellent corrosion resistance and durability, resulting in a long service life and cost savings.

The service life of fiberglass ducts can reach 30 years, aligning with the lifecycle of thermal power plants, avoiding the economic losses and troubles caused by material replacement and shutdowns, and saving corrosion prevention costs.

Additionally, fiberglass itself has a relatively light weight, can support large spans, and has low hoisting costs, thus saving construction expenses.

This technology is mainly applied in chimney-tower integration projects in thermal power plants, chemical plants, and other industries.
